HKers have inherited the British habit of running themselves down at every opportunity.

Singaporeans on the other hand are absolutely convinced that they are god's gift to everything and will run down everyone else (particulalry HK) at every opportunity.

Shopping in HK is like shopping anywhere else - caveat emptor!
