I wanted to get your thoughts on the following itinerary for Australia to see if it was too hectic and what you all thought would be great sights to see while we were there, thoughts on hotels, etc. - I am traveling with my wife and 2 kids that are 18 and 20. The inbound and outbound flights are booked, but the rest of it can be changed:

Arrive day one in Melbourne at 7am
Day 4 travel from Melbourne to Cairns
Day 7 travel from Cairns to Uluru
Day 8 travel from Uluru to Sydney
Day 11 travel from Sydney to Brisbane
Day 12 travel from Brisbane to home

Sydney to Brisbane and Brisbane to home are part of the same flight.

None have been to Australia before. Dont know if Uluru is worth the two days?

On the hotel front, thinking about staying at the Park Hyatt Sydney, but I need to get two rooms as there are 4 of us, and the diamond upgrade doesnt work. I do have around 200k Hyatt points, but dont know if its worth it for 30kX2 points per night.
