I travelled UA from PDX last weekend and thought the security staff were excellent (by excellent I mean they treated everyone fairly and equally and were getting through the lines quickly).

I appreciated that as the PDX-SFO portion of my PDX-SFO-BOS was delayed so they had rebooked me for PDX-LAX-BOS leaving 45 minutes earlier without telling me. I only found out 45 mins before the new departure time when I called from home as the delayed PDX-SFO flight meant I would miss my connection.
