Sometimes it is necessary to make a brand new post because people lost interest in the previous post that abruptly ended with the reply "do a search".

Other times someone puts a link to another web site as the answer to a post but the link doesn't work. Notably with newspaper articles that are removed after a few days. Is it better to copy the whole text into the reply?
