I should know this but I'm here in HNL meeting up with my sis and BIL.

We are departing on Delta the same day to different destinations.

I am a silver (and get a free checked bag), they have no special status on Delta.

They were carry on coming here but it sure would be nice if they could check a bag free on the return. Shopping and all that .... They do not have credit card that gets them a free bag.

Our locator #'s / itineraries are not linked in any way, yet.

So, if I check in with them at the same time, will they get a free checked bag?

Is it possible, will it help if I call and have the reservations linked?
