This has nothing to do with the thread, but I was on a train today and eventually became aware of a quartet of American girls talking to the carriage in general and no one in particular. The one who had most to say for herself interjected the word "like" ever few words, and the classic being

"And you know it like you know so not good, and I said like are you for real and like I was feeling like so uncomfortable"

I'll take a "yeah" any day thank you.
