Just remember when you check in at T-24 don't print your boarding pass. That way you can keep going back to check if any upper deck window seats be come available. It's surprising how many people don't make it onto the plane due to change of plans or misconnects.
I have a friend who was blue at the time. Didn't pay for a seat and couldn't even pick one at OLCI, it was full. In the end he was in 62A as whoever was there was Op-Up'ed to First.
Don't print your boarding pass and you might get lucky!
