I class in non changeable, non refundable - as per the T&C that would have been acknowledged at time of booking.

So, unless there are operational reasons (BA 3 over booked or tech) the answer will be a firm 'No'. If you want to change, you'll need to pay, though on some I class tickets not even this is always possible.

I don't think 'cant harm you to ask' view on here cuts it. The Rules are the rules and enforced by BA so best to save your time and the agent's.
