By the end of next year, it is assumed that only 5 of their kind will be left and none by 2017 as more 787s (SS8/SS9 configs) arrive (7 frames for 2016) and it is expected that the older 787s (E01 configs) will be used as sort of an "upgrade" to the current 767s. Given the number of LCCs and cheap tickets on the routes mentioned, it is not a surprise that these are being deployed so you shouldn't feel bad about it.

So let JL's replacement planning process/strategy runs it course but for the meantime enjoy the ride.
