I must be doing something wrong -- since everyone else finds this a snap. My fustration really overflowed.

At any rate I now have a booking confirmation which includes my cc, but I still am asked to go and exchange this for a real ticket an hour in advance (30 min for Via1). Is this the way it is supposed to work? I would have thought my confirmation would have been like an eticket, all done at once.
