The idea of paying $1k + per night to stay at FS Maui during a high occupancy period (with all of the waiting for lounge chairs / cabana and difficulty getting spa appointments when I want them) holds zero appeal to me. I am sure it is great for families who can only travel during those time periods, but that is not how I like to travel.
