Thanks both of you for talking some sense into me, you're right - I'd much rather have a top notch hotel in the center of town and find something for breakfast elsewhere. And to clarify, to your point trueblu - your point is duly noted, though we will actually have 5-6 days in London altogether, just staying with family in the suburbs for the other nights.

I've set alerts for the IC Park Lane now, since there's no award availability at the moment - would you (or anyone else) mind rattling off your other two or three top recommendations, in case the IC never comes through?
