A lot depends on the dates you've booked (your upgrade chances are greater on a random weekday than, say, New Years Eve), but an upgrade from standard room to suite is unlikely any time.

The suites are nice, and I really enjoy the bay view of Odaiba. I would say that a $100/night suite upgrade is a good deal.
