Pre-Check loophole?
I was flying LAS - IAH last Sunday on Frontier so through Terminal 3. I sometimes get pre-check but didn't today so was in the regular security line. This line was pretty long so the TSA agent checking id's called the next few folks in the regular security line including myself, to go through the pre-check line as that line was empty.
However, it seems she did not inform the agent who was standing next to the scanner that we were not officially "pre-check". He subsequently allowed everyone to keep laptops in their bags, shoes and belts on.
While this is highly convenient, I suppose this is a security flaw that could (has to be really small chance) lead to a security issue.
