There is definitely a "pecking order" in the valet car parking biz, I had one valet, a few years back, at the Arizona Biltmore tell me that they wouldn't park anything less than a 500 series Mercedes up front. This "rule of thumb" seems to be fairly accurate, of course it depends on the market.
