The problem is sometimes you cannot avoid it. Kona is a perfect example, Rome is another. I look at my trip section and sometimes cringe or spend hours trying to avoid the inevitable.
I know that, it was my sad attempt at travel humor. I do absolutely REFUSE to take west coast > east coast redeye flights though, not gonna happen again in this lifetime... I'll fly out the next morning and that's all there is to it! For other flights where its unavoidable (US>EU) I won't go unless it's in lie-flats... Don't much care which airline but I will be lying flat or I'm not going.
