I am planning a trip from Norway to Australia next easter together with my wife. I am in possession of two vouchers, that will cover the roundtrip from Stavanger to Bangkok/Singapore. I have to buy seperate roundtrip tickets from BKK or SIN to Australia since the vouchers is only valid on the airline that issued them (SAS). I have been searching a lot of airlines, and a lot of different prices for these tickets, between 10th and 30th of april 2003. All of them is priced USD1500 and up. It's cheaper to book LHR to SYD than from BKK/SIN to SYD so far in advance. My question is, is it worth the risk to fly to Thailand or Singapore, and then buy the ticket there, or do we run the chance of not getting a seat, since it is easter and the high season. We are also considering turning the vouchers in for money and go on another airline.
Apreciate any help and advice I can get
