Appreciate extra provisions can't be loaded once pushed back, but maybe as it had been snowing all night (and had been forecasted for a week) and with PEK being infamous for delays, provisions might have been made. In any event, even the offer of the noodles/snack boxes that are apparently available would have been good!
I certainly wasn't trying to disprove your version but to give the facts about the amount of food onboard.
As I am sure other posters will testify I am not one of BAs biggest fans but I try and see things from both sides.
I have to say that that there should have been plenty of snacks available as these are catered to 100% of the aircaft configuration and you have already mentioned that the WT plus cabin wasn't full.
Is there a chance that you may have been asleep when snacks were being offered, also did tell the crew you were hungry?
