Unless you can get availability on LHR-MEL/SYD on Qantas , you are likely to have to travel from Asia to Australia in business class

This makes it 80k to do from 57%-65% in 1st and 43%-35% in business class vs 100k to do the whole journey in 1st class on EY

On top of that , you are also going to receive chauffeur drive services in London and Australia ( plus in Middle East if you choose to have a stopover ) which I have estimated ( without stopover ) to be worth around 8k miles in itself ( comparing price to purchase miles vs price of a taxi )

Although the absolute cost is higher, I think you will be getting better value
I went for it all in F. Figured we're splurging on RTW, might as well do it up.

Thanks for the reminder on the chauffeur! I had forgotten about that option in London. We have 2 days in AUH so we'll make use of if there as well. Didn't realize they offered it in MEL though, thats a nice bonus!
