Whilst it's a joke you need to pay for a seat in J in the first place the fact is you knew you had this option to select seats in advance.
Describing it as a 'bit of a disaster' is a bit OTT as well. I've been married 15 years and we prefer to go on different planes never mind being split up on the same plane.
