I doubt the HR is feeling much competition from the RC, we average one weekend a month and it has always been close to full even after the RC opened. If fact the rates for the standard rooms at the have pretty much doubled since the the RC opened, but they are still lower than the standard room at the RC. If the HR is feeling any competition from the RC it might be for the suites and deluxe balcony rooms which have not gone up in rates anywhere near as much as the standard rooms.

But I would not at all be surprised if there is competition for staff, and that is going to get much, much worse when the FS opens just around the corner!
