As mentioned upthread, no need to use the GPUs for this itinerary. Depending upon when your overseas trip is, the GPUs can be extended (she'll need to call in to do so) until the end of April '16. Using those would require W class or higher and you'll want to make sure R class is available at time of booking, otherwise you're playing the upgrade lottery.
