As expected, huge lines at DCA this morning. Had to leave extra early. Pre check came through so no problems making it through FYI, pre check is NOT guaranteed with global entry. There is no reason why I should not be able to check in and get a boarding pass even if a specific seat has to assigned at the gate. AA has no regard for the value of your time. if this is a computer issue, AA could fix it if they wanted to. Probably not much desire on their part if it creates an incentive to pay for unnecessary/unwanted premium seats.

Not knowing if you will get pre check can mean a wait of 30-45 minutes at DCA on a Saturday morning so is actually important to know in advance and requires an extra early airport arrival.
