Better fare on AA UK site, is it OK to book?
I have found a better fare on the AA UK site verses the AA US site for a roundtrip flight ex-Europe to the US. The reason for the better fare is that the UK site is showing a flight option with BA in WT+ in the 'T' fare code whereas the US site shows it in the more expensive 'E' fare code. Both sites are showing the actual BA flight number, not an AA codeshare #. EF is showing E5T0 so it is strange that the AA UK site is allowing the booking in T.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it OK to book with the UK site? I would do it logged into my AA account which shows my country of residence (which is another European country) and use the US addressed credit card I have in my profile (which carries no Forex charges so it's not a problem to pay for the ticket in pounds). I have worked through the UK site almost booking it and haven't run into any issues. Just hesitating to hit the final submit payment button!
