The JL F lounge in HND always seems to be empty for the CX flights, so if you want to be away from the crowd I'd say it's a good choice. However my impression is that food is somewhat mediocre at those hours when compared with the NRT JL F lounge.
If CX's HND lounge serves good noodles I shall be tempted to go over there for my next trip to Tokyo.
Agreed on the somewhat limited choice on food during CX549 departure time in mid afternoon. Though I would usually have a nice lunch in town before heading to HND so all I need is good selection of drinks and personal space which is why JL F lounge is perfect! During their peak times the food selection there is much better.
