At those prices I think Andaz is the much better choice. Plus, it sounds like you will be eating at FS with your friends anyway. Especially if you have status with Hyatt, you should expect to be treated well on a paid suite booking. Probably just as well as you would be at FS, which is nice, but still a run of the mill property compared to the best FS properties in the world.
Thank you for the information about StR Princeville. It looks like a very good option in Kauai, I imagine it is hard to argue with that view from the looks of it.
