Relative had a bankruptcy 6-ish years ago is all I can think of. But I thought this would not be a problem for AU? After all, *I* am the one on the hook for paying it. Was planning to set spend caps of course.
Any advice for getting them approved?
I tried adding an AU who had a previous bankruptcy and an amex chargeoff that wasn't insignificant. Amex said "no". But Chase bent over backwards and overnighted cards when I added the same person as an AU on my Chase cards. It's true what people say, AmEx never forgets that stuff.
