It's been 3-4 years since I have gone to Hawaii via YVR (thanks to the temporary direct flights from YYC). I seem to recall a lounge in the "E" area near the baggage claim there, and that the lounge was near the checkin or entry to customs. It was , of course an Empress lounge at the time. Do you still claim your bags there and is that lounge still open? (Just to be prepared for our trip to OGG in April, and providing I decide to get the AMEX or VISA plat card!)
