Years ago Delta used to use the actual aircraft to train their pilots instead of purchasing simulators. The results were not good. Many lives and airplanes were lost as a result. You'd think they would have learned their lesson by now. With the advances in CGI there is no need to actually fly the airplane. Not to mention using CGI would have to be cheaper than flying an empty aircraft around trying to get a shoot.
