Apple Pay and Delta Amex Card Bonuses
I received the promotional "Tech Improvements to Take You Further" email today (touting wifi, Delta Studio, and availability of ApplePay.)

This question then occurred to me. If you pay via ApplePay designating your Amex Skymiles Platinum card, does Amex see that as a purchase on Delta (and give the bonus miles) or does it see that solely as an ApplePay purchase (and not give bonus miles)?

Anyone have any recent experience?
