I'm not sure if United Club Card award-ticket upgrades ever work. I don't seem to even get on the waitlist. Has anyone had this work?
I was on put on the waitlist for a recent award flight. I have noticed if you have a companion on the same reservation, you will not be put on the waitlist because your companion is not eligible.
