The Motel 6 wants $65 per night. That's very good for Maine in the middle of July. I'm a big fan of B&B's but found the best prices to start around $85.

I'm known to be quite a stubborn person but the idea of getting a 3 star hotel for the same price as a Motel 6 is appealing. It can't hurt to place a bid for say $45 for this Friday night in Portland, can it?
