R&R: We are enjoying the JWM very much. I'm in their business center right now. It's about 9:23 a.m. here. The weather has mostly cooperated -- a little rain here and there, mostly overcast but some sun now and then.

The Grand Palace was indeed grand. Unbelievably ornate. Wat Po was phenomenal too. We went to Sala Rim Naam for dinner and the show. Very nice. Food was very good but not spectacular. The entertainment was interesting and it was nice to get a little culture. The meal wasn't cheap for Thai standards but I thought I got my money's worth. The Peninsula was great. We were operationally upgraded on our flight from BKK to Phuket on Thai. We had booked in business and they moved us (and apparently all of the bus. class people) to first. Fully flat -- nice. A full trip report will follow when I return to the US.
