Think, delay's aside, it is difficult leaving Heathrow with the long taxing and wait time just to take off which can at times be up to an hour even after leaving the gate..what more with winter coming along and defrosting the wings and aircraft which can also take time..

Best to give more time for your connecting....it's just the smart thing to do.
Well... when I booked the flight the connection was over an hour, then they changed the schedule. I am monitoring loadings for the next flight to MLE and if it looks like it will be filling up then I am going to change to a later connection and accept a @ 5 hour layover at CMB because I don't want to risk getting stuck in CMB.
