That's one good reason. And another is that I'm flying to BKK in January as well. Unfortunately only outbound onboard A350 as return will not be from BKK, which luckily at least this far it is not scheduled as QA or QG (both of which hopefully by that time are already sunbathing in Arizona!), but A330.
