I think actually seeing it with your own eyes does a lot more good than listening to propaganda from the US government and the likes of CNN from the comfort of home.

Being Chinese, they have less incentive to impress us of their country's achievements. We visited landmarks and monuments just like what we would do in London or DC. Politics was not discussed and they gave their reasons on why they hate Americans, and how they hope to unite with South Korea one day. Nothing was imposed on us and we were free to roam about after the tour with escort, although we dictated where we wanted to go and not the other way around. We heard propaganda songs being played but it was all in Korean so we had no idea what they were saying. Don't think we were being brainwashed there.

Now that I have seen a bit of the country, I can have a more informed opinion after listening to both sides of the divide.
