americans love flying on ac, free liquor on overseas, non hd'd aircraft are comfortable, cnx experience in yyz is decent. if you're in pdx or slc and you have to cnx via ord or iad anyways....

it's a pretty decent strategy assuming govt can help this to work, which is unlikely

and you cannot assume someone in san or sfo or iad is automatically loyal to ua, typically consumers go to the lowest bidder
