I have several UsAir tickets that had to be cancelled (non-refundable) which have varying amounts of residual value from prior to the merger. I was encouraged to wait until the AA merger to use them combined as this was something AA allows, but USAir did not. <-- the Chairman's desk agent gave this advice, btw.

Now, I have no earthly idea how to do this. Entering the ticket numbers as "vouchers" on AA doesn't work, as they aren't vouchers, obviously.

I was under the impression I would find a spot on the payment section to enter in ticket numbers for "payment" based on my discussion with the agent before the merger was complete (like SWA does on their reservations payment screen, for instance)

The agent even took the time to look up all of my actual ticket numbers on the call because she said my confirmation numbers are all USair and wouldn't be recognized by AA later.

Anyone have any guidance on where I go to use these ticket numbers so I can redeem their value against a new ticket?
