I booked at Waldorf Astoria Panama City when they were having a promo (75 USD Visa gift card for a stay, arrived 6 weeks after my stay), and booked into a room for 79 USD. The booking showed up on my Hilton account shortly, and points posted without problems. I also got late check-out, upgrade to junior suite, 25 USD dining credit, breakfast, and free wifi. I wouldn't have gotten the 25 USD dining credit and breakfast as a Hilton Gold. Good deal overall.
