First and foremost and although slightly OT, if you have a passport, do not get TSA Pre-Check, get GE. It is $15 more over 5 years, so $3 / year. That pays for itself even if you only travel overseas once in the next 5 years.

No. You will find that if the name associated with your KTN is not exactly the same as in your profile that you will routinely not be selected for Pre-Check.

Use this opportunity to "harmonize" everything so that all "official" documents are exactly the same and that your various FFP profiles are the same as the "official" documents. You will have a lot fewer hassles and a lot better selection %.
