As with AA codeshares where you earn 100% miles, then you'll get 100% BIS miles for MM status. When it goes revenue i'm guessing it'll revert to pure BIS miles, maybe, depending on whatever earning scheme is installed for partners.
I recently moved to Europe and now do a bit of intra-Europe and Europe to Asia trips. Unfortunately, no there are no AA codeshares on those flights.
My goal is to get up to LT PL in a few years - AA is still a better deal given how much I have already put into it. As you pointed out UA doesn't count partners and LH wants me to be over 65 for lifetime, which is a long time from now for me : )
