Eariler tonight I made a rental car reservation to pick up a car in july from hertz at dca and return it to bwi.The rate quoted me was $28.99/day for a full size great deal eh?Now what travelocity didnt tell me is that on monday (the rental is sat-tues)the rate jumps to $85.99 for that day.I understand that the rate goes up for a weekday but travelocity did not show this nor did it show or email me a total.We had to call up hertz who informed us of this.The rate even with the huge jump works out 30 bucks less than avis still but I think it is very deceptive.
