I call in each year for a retention offer. Every other year I'm denied. I never ask why, but they always mention that I called in exactly 1 year ago asking to close the account. Almost seems like they are doing a guilt trip! haha The ease of use of their purchase protection claim alone covers the increased annual fee. Even better getting a $100+ check after they decided to fork out money for each claim made in the past to cover shipping costs.
