In my humble experience, the term "duty free" translates into "rip off" in over 60 languages. During my 8 hour flight last week on United from MIA-GRU they never even bothered to bring out the duty free cart....I guess no ones buying as we/they have all wisened up.

With the exception of hfly's post regarding some items at the "Brasif" inbound duty free stores at GIG and GRU.....I have never seen anything except for cigarettes at prices that represented value for the consumer.....at ANY duty free shop. And.....I don't smoke.
