It's going to take a second-tier supervisor at DL and then working with their liaison at VA, but the only way to get this done at all is for DL to agree to cancel and reissue a new ticket with all fees other than administrative, waived as a customer service gesture.

That will take VA's willingness to hold the new seats so that the existing reservation doesn't simply go back into IM at perhaps a much higher fee.

As a caution for others, it really pays to get names aligned properly. When signing kids up for programs, use their full name with all initials expressed the same way. Carry that over for passports, GE, visas and the like.

The order of names, missing middle names and legal name changes are all easily dealt with, but "Trey" for "Charles" isn't.
