I don't know when the last time you visited Disneyland was, but they have built up the area quite a bit. There is now a second theme park there, Disney's California Adventure (which in my opinion is not as fun as Disneyland, but something to see if you want to). Also, there is Downtown Disney (there is no admission price) which has movie theaters, restaurants, and shops.
