I have never been there as platinum but gold and have been treated well. Upgrade from luxury to club room has always been confirmed already after the booking is done. Nice in-room gifts, too: once I received soap dish made from seashell, once local mango liqueur, plus wine is always waiting for in the room together with small mango-based delicacies, fresh flowers and beautiful historical-themed welcome card signed by GM. Club Millesime has been flexible even with cocktail hours. I have always arrived late so can't comment on early check-in but late check-out until 6pm has been totally fine.
