Actually, the Chinese meal listed sounded good, but when I ordered, purser told me it had changed - I went with it anyways even though it didn't sound as good.
Typically you have to pre-order the "ethnic" meal. That's likely why the question is being asked.

Tip - I requested the Japanese meal NRT-DTW a month or so ago and didn't like what it ended up being and they let me switch it no questions asked.
