Sofitel Manila is one of my favourite hotels. Have stayed there many times and will stay again next spring. Club Millesime is awesome. Great food selection and sweet staff. Club room is the best choice for room here IMO. Don't go with junior suites at least. You might be disappointed (as we did compared to Club rooms). The hotel is a bit isolated but they offer a free shuttle to Mall of Asia, one of the biggest malls in the world. It's about five-minutes ride. Many up-scale hotels are in Makati. Have been to Peninsula for example. That's nice place, too, but don't beat Sofitel. Makati as an area is more attracting with many things to do but on the other Sofitel is in its own peace by the sea. It has a relaxing resort feeling. Rizal Park, Manila hotel, Intramuros and other main attractions are in walking distance (takes about 45 minutes depending on weather). But traffic is very chaotic so maybe better to taxi that is also very cheap. Book Sofitel and enjoy!
