Is book & upgrade just a racket?
I just tried to book a trip CPH-GIG-CPH.
CW paid in cash is 14.000 DKK whereas a book & upgrade, i.e. paying for CW and using Avios to upgrade outbound flight to First, is 54.000 DKK plus 27.000 Avios.
That has got to be the worst possible deal I have ever seen.
Will call BAEC tomorrow, but has anyone else experienced this before?
